An open-source protocol called Tortuga was created to make it possible for Aptos validators to accept delegates from several APT addresses. When Aptos was first released, the basic framework did not offer this capability. The protocol’s two main goals are to: (1) raise the overall amount of APT coins staked by making it easier for end users to engage in APT staking. Its second goal is to encourage a more equitable distribution of voting power.
With a TVL of over $9.56 million, Tortuga Finance does not yet have its own token. If they issue their own currency, users that lend and borrow tokens on the network, manufacture stablecoins, and offer liquidity will probably receive an airdrop.
Comprehensive Guide:
- Go to the website of Tortuga Finance.
- Connect an Aptos wallet (such as Pontem) and register.
- Now, you’ll require some APT and/or additional Aptos tokens. APT is available through Binance.
- Proceed to your dashboard and purchase tAPT on Thala using APT.
- Provide liquidity on Thala and finance the tAPT/APT pool.
- Utilize tAPT and mint stablecoin by pledging them on Thala.
- Additionally, lend and take some tokens.
- They do not currently have a token of their own, but that could change in the future.
- If users choose to introduce their own token, they can be qualified for an airdrop.
- By engaging with the Aptos ecosystem, you may also qualify for the Aptos speculative airdrop.
- Please be aware that there is no assurance they will introduce their own token or do an airdrop. That’s just conjecture.
