IT & Facilities Manager | Home Retailer | Belfast <\/strong><\/p>\n The Role<\/strong><\/p>\n Zachary Daniels are delighted to be supporting this hugely successful homewares retailer with stores across Northern Ireland in the appointment of an IT & Facilities Manager to operate from their HQ in Belfast.<\/p>\n Reporting into the Group Financial Director you will be accountable for successfully managing the companies IT and infrastructure facilities<\/p>\n Main Accountabilities<\/strong><\/p>\n Accountable for the delivery of I.T. services – including hardware, software and network systems while being cybersecure and meeting data protection requirements across the island of Ireland<\/p>\n Plan, organise, control and evaluate IT Support and Operations and how they are delivered into the business.<\/p>\n Strategic development, management and operation of Group IT systems to deliver an effective and highly regarded I.T. service, ensuring technology resources are kept up to date.<\/p>\n Take ownership of both IT disaster recovery planning, working with 3rd party providers and ensuring smooth day to day operations by troubleshooting and resolving issues to minimise downtime.<\/p>\n Oversee the maintenance and operation of buildings and other infrastructures to ensure all facilities are functioning optimally and safely.<\/p>\n Apply a structured methodology in the implementation of project plans to achieve the desired outcomes.<\/p>\n Procure, negotiate, manage, and monitor of contracts provided by third parties ensuring effective service delivery and value for money.<\/p>\n Managing routine maintenance program, negotiating with suppliers and contractors, managing building renovations and office moves. <\/p>\n The successful candidate will display the following skill set:<\/strong><\/p>\n Experience dealing with hardware and cloud based infrastructure ideally with experience in IT Transformation projects impacting numerous departments and stakeholders across the business<\/p>\n Proven experience as IT manager or similar role, working in a Windows server and multi-site environment.<\/p>\n Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and data protection.<\/p>\n Leadership skills to manage third party contractors.<\/p>\n Strong knowledge and understanding of Office 365 suite<\/p>\n Familiarity with a variety of software, hardware, and network systems.<\/p>\n Excellent communication skills for negotiating contracts and for managing projects.<\/p>\n Please note this role will require travel to various sites and <\/strong> a driving license is a necessity.<\/strong><\/p>\n Facilities management is a small part of this role and therefore our client is happy to teach this aspect of the role to someone with the right aptitude – IT experience is paramount.<\/strong><\/p>\n
