You will be responsible for translating  business strategic goals and objectives into supporting enterprise-wide technology strategies. Up to circa &#163;87,750 basic plus excellent benefits including a 8% cash benefits allowance and 10%-25% bonus. All of which add up to make the Bank a hugely rewarding place to work. <\/p>\n<p><strong>As a Lead Solution Architect within the Bank, typical role responsibilities include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Taking a leading role on programmes and projects, understanding business imperatives and developing solutions that deliver against the requirements aligned to business and technology strategies<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for understanding the technology estate and strategic direction to develop architecture and roadmaps with a focus on re-use, rationalisation, simplification and decommissioning<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for designing and producing architectural artefacts for end-to-end solutions, baseline and target architectures, solution blueprints, including high-level design, technical options that are aligned to architecture standards, principles and patterns  taking into consideration the impact to the enterprise, technology and business.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Essential Skills and Experience as a Solutions Architect:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience as an architect on large scale, complex technology projects, designing platforms, products, systems and components.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in architecture planning for large initiatives\/programmes, developing architecture blueprint, high level design and implementation of the following aspects of solution architecture: Services, Applications, Integration, Technology, Security and  Data<\/li>\n<li>Experience of working with and across multiple methodologies and technologies to ensure delivery of critical projects and programmes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>As well as the above core skills, we are looking to engage with candidates to work on one of five different Bank initiatives, depending on your following additional skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>CRM, Integration API, MS Azure, MS SQL Data Warehousing, XBRL taxonomies, Data Collection systems &amp; Data lifecycle management<\/li>\n<li>Integration &#8211; MQ, API&#8217;s, SWIFT, .Net Development, Portal Development, MS SQL Data Warehousing, Auction Systems, Trading platforms, Straight Thru processing, &amp; FixML<\/li>\n<li>Tender development, SWIFT and CREST, Trading, &amp; Collateral Management<\/li>\n<li>Integration API, MS Azure, MS SQL Data Warehousing, XBRL taxonomies, Data Collection systems &amp;Data lifecycle management<\/li>\n<li>Azure Data Lake, Synapse, Elastic Search, Data lifecycle management &amp; Data Sourcing (Bloomberg, Reuters, ONS etc.).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>In addition, you can expect a planned, transparent progression with learning and development tailored to your role, and a culture encouraging inclusion and diversity, plus the following benefits:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A non-contributory, career average pension giving you a guaranteed retirement benefit of 1\/95th of your annual salary for every year worked.
