Position<\/strong>: Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer<\/p>\n Location<\/strong>: Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire<\/p>\n Salary<\/strong>: £40,000 – £45,000<\/p>\n Interaction Engineering are seeking a versatile Maintenance Engineer dedicated to ensuring the seamless operation of our production lines in Huntingdon. The role demands a proactive and safety-conscious individual who thrives in a dynamic manufacturing environment. Your primary focus will be on reducing downtime, implementing preventative maintenance strategies, and contributing to continuous improvements.<\/p>\n The Position:<\/p>\n – Work closely with production teams to optimise efficiency and minimise downtime.<\/p>\n – Follow planned maintenance schedules (PPM) and promptly respond to machinery breakdowns.<\/p>\n – Implement improvement requests and preventative maintenance tasks to enhance overall performance.<\/p>\n – Make recommendations for cost reduction, downtime minimisation, and improved health and safety.<\/p>\n – Complete administrative duties related to pre and post maintenance tasks.<\/p>\n – Participate in project work and undertake site and facilities maintenance activities.<\/p>\n – Ensure compliance with Health and Safety management system, participating in audits when required.<\/p>\n What we need from you?<\/p>\n – Well-rounded engineer with an electrical bias and apprentice trained.<\/p>\n – Knowledge and experience in hydraulic and pneumatic systems.<\/p>\n – Welding experience \u2013 Desirable, not essential<\/p>\n – Computer literate, especially in MS Word and Excel.<\/p>\n – Ability to work independently and unsupervised.<\/p>\n – Experience in time-critical manufacturing environments.<\/p>\n – Full UK driving license.<\/p>\n Interaction Recruitment have specialist consultants across most industries within the UK, including but not limited to, Finance & IT, Technical & Engineering, Industrial, Commercial and Hospitality.
