This educational establishment is looking for a dedicated and dynamic individual to join their finance team as an Assistant Financial Accountant. This role is pivotal in supporting the financial management, control, and reporting of the organisation and its subsidiaries. You will be responsible for; assisting in preparing and managing the Group’s financial accounting and external financial reporting, preparing regular and ad-hoc reports, VAT and Corporation Tax returns, and other mandatory returns, contributing to the production of annual Financial Statements and liaise with external auditors, maintaining accurate accounting records for subsidiary companies, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and regularly reconcile balance sheet accounts and improve accounting processes and systems.<\/p>\n
You will be a part-qualified accountant actively pursuing a professional accountancy qualification, have a strong understanding of UK accounting practices and tax principles, be -proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and capable of data manipulation, have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and have clear communication of complex financial information to both financial and non-financial colleagues.<\/p>\n
