You will be working with this forward-thinking and evolving organisation. With over 1700 staff, this organisation prides itself on delivering innovative research, learning and teaching of the highest quality and sharing its knowledge globally. The organisation is looking to hire a dynamic and experienced Risk Manager to join them on a permanent basis, working within the wider finance team of over 50 staff. The risk manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective management of all financial risks related insurance, business continuity, due diligence, and counter fraud and financial crime. <\/p>\n
Within this varied role you will be responsible for a range of duties which help ensure effective governance of the organisation. These duties will cover:<\/p>\n\n
You will hold a relevant accountancy qualification such as CA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CIPFA and you may well also hold a relevant risk qualification. In addition, you will have 5 years + experience in risk management and a strong understanding of insurance principles, business continuity planning, due diligence processes, and fraud prevention techniques. You will also have excellent analytical and communication skills. An understanding of the education sector would also be advantageous.<\/p>\n
