Our client, a manufacturing business with a heavy supply chain element, seek to appoint an Operations Manager to act as the intermediary between the Senior Management team and board. The appointed Operations Manager will have overall responsibility for production, quality, health and safety, engineering and supply chain activities for a manufacturing team spread across multiple international sites. Operations Manager – Role & Responsibilities<\/p>\n
* Deliver on the operational KPIs for the site whilst simultaneously further developing a culture of continuous improvement
* Lead senior colleagues in manufacturing and supply chain to contribute effectively to the growth strategy of the business
* Deliver on long term strategic vision of the company and implement cultural change
* Flexible attitude on a day to day basis. Firm and persistant when expressing views but a good listener comfortable changing course if given compelling reasons<\/p>\n
Operations Manager – Skills & Abilities<\/p>\n
* Well evidenced leadership and coaching abilities
* Track record of lean implementation and development of a culture of continuous improvement
* Prior experience working for a manufacturer in an operations focused role
* Comfortable from shop floor to board room
* Relationship builder able to increase co-operation across departments<\/p>\n
