Typically between 9.00am – 5.00pm so no evenings or split shifts.<\/p>\n Salary: <\/strong>£24,483 per annum<\/p>\n This is our anticipated salary from 1st April but is subject to final confirmation following the Trust\u2019s annual pay review process’ on all our vacancies.<\/p>\n Duration: <\/strong>Permanent<\/p>\n Interview date: <\/strong>18th, 19th & 20th March 2024<\/p>\n What it’s like to work here <\/p>\n You will be joining the team at an exciting time as we look to open our new Visitor Centre, including our new caf\u00e9 in July. This will be a brand new building in the heart of the Arboretum with a large purpose built caf\u00e9 and kitchen with all new facilities and equipment. <\/p>\n Joining our team at this exciting time, you’ll be given a full and thorough induction with time spent both onsite in our existing facilities and offsite at other properties in order to gain full understanding of our National Trust Food & Beverage systems and ways of working while the new building is completed. Once access is gained to the new building, you will play a pivotal role in leading the team through this change and setting the new business up for success.<\/p>\n To find out more about what it\u2019s like to work in a food and beverage team for the National Trust, click here to watch our video.<\/p>\n What you’ll be doing <\/p>\n As Food and Beverage Assistant Manager, you\u2019ll be working closely with the Food and Beverage Manager. You\u2019ll be helping to look after the entire operation, keeping consistently high standards in the team, in the outlets, and in the food and drink we prepare and serve. You\u2019ll always have an eye on ways to improve service and standards for our visitors.<\/p>\n You\u2019ll support the team to help build a great place to work. This could include helping with recruiting and training new people or developing the team. You\u2019ll make sure that the team follow all relevant legislation and National Trust policies.<\/p>\n You\u2019ll be setting and achieving financial targets to increase income and profits. This could be by driving sales through controlling resources and achieving the best possible customer service.<\/p>\n We\u2019ll give you an induction that fits the job, and training in allergens and food safety, plus any mentoring needed to help you in your role.
