Due to continuous expansion, they are now looking to acquire the services of an Audit and Accounts Senior\/Semi Senior to join  the team, to provide high quality audit, accounting, and related client services and to contribute generally to the overall development of the firm, alongside a formal training program to develop skills and knowledge. This is a fantastic opportunity, which  would suit an individual who is a self-starter, passionate and resilient looking to work in a varied, dynamic environment, offering the scope for credible career development.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>Main Responsibilities: <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Perform the \u2018senior\u2019 role on audit assignments as required.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare statutory financial statements based on information supplied by clients.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare business tax computations, partnership, and personal tax returns, prepare corporation tax computations and CT600 forms.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with general client inquiries regarding aspects of their bookkeeping and other business-related matters as required.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare other client deliverables as requested.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor own quality of performance and time costs in line with agreed budgets.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with administrative tasks if necessary.<\/li>\n<li>Record own chargeable time and enable maximum recoveries.<\/li>\n<li>Attend courses that are appropriate to job role.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in the delivery of ad hoc projects and assignments.<\/li>\n<li>Identify points for the Department Manager to raise with clients and to raise potential areas for additional services including added value services and advice.<\/li>\n<li>Undertake bookkeeping, ledger maintenance, supplier maintenance and management accounts preparation, as and when required.<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with clients to obtain relevant information for their accounts, acting in a proactive manner and ensuring attention to detail and effective questioning of client.<\/li>\n<li>Provide support to trainees through on-the-job coaching and supervision of their work.<\/li>\n<li>Make use of appropriate support networks to clarify knowledge and resolve queries or complex technical or software-related matters.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Skills &amp; Experience: <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>ACA\/ACCA fully or part-qualified or AAT qualified.<\/li>\n<li>Experience of preparing accounts and related business tax computations.<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.<\/li>\n<li>Willingness to learn and consider the bigger picture.<\/li>\n<li>Proven verbal and written communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Strong presence, quickly builds rapport and trust and highly confidential.<\/li>\n<li>Resilient, energetic, achiever and self-motivated.<\/li>\n<li>Organised, creative and analytical.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Additional Information: <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>This is a full time, permanent role, Monday to Friday, flexible working hours and structure (37.5 hours per week).<\/li>\n<li>23 Days Holiday &#43; Bank holidays (increases with length of service).<\/li>\n<li>Enhanced Employer Pension Contribution, Benefits Platform, Life Assurance, Private Medical Insurance, Medical Cash Plan, Comprehensive Employee Assistance Program, Enhanced Maternity.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you would like to apply for this opportunity, please submit an up-to-date CV including details about your current or most recent salary and your availability\/notice period.
