Based in Co Down, this company have been on operation for over 20 years, they now operate throughout the UK and Ireland with a wide range of clients across commercial and industrial, education, agricultural, hospitality and residential sectors specialising in Wastewater Treatment plant solutions.<\/p>\n
This is a contract position for a c.9-12 month duration based from our clients office in Newry. As a Design engineer, you will be working alongside each department throughout the project design and delivery cycle, supporting various design stages of civil infrastructure, water, and wastewater utility. You will work as an engineer in a team with other disciplines such as process engineers and mechanical engineers.<\/p>\n
* Operate with a large degree of autonomy.
* Completion of BOM’s.
* 2D and 3D Modelling.
* Initial concept drawing.
* Detailed engineering drawings.
* Source materials & part.
* Maintain technical specifications & user documentation.
* Site visits to assess installation.
* Capability to satisfy client and business expectations and be able to consider the wider financial
and commercial implications of their actions.
* Communicate effectively to internal and external clients, both verbally & in writing.
* Structure & prioritise work effectively through close cooperation with the team as a whole.
* Comply with all company procedures and authorisations when committing the company to
agreement.
* Assistance in the development of monthly progress reports.
* Adhere to Health & Safety, Quality & Environmental policies and procedures.
* Ability to work independently without losing initiative & focus.<\/p>\n
To be eligible for this role you will be able to demonstrate experience of the essential criteria.<\/p>\n
* Experience in using AutoCAD & SolidWorks.
* Logical Thinker with good analytical and problem – solving skills.
* Excellent time management and communication skills.<\/p>\n
* Hydraulics experience.
* Project Management qualification.
* Engineering degree qualified.<\/p>\n
Salary range – £47,000 – £53,000 pro rata
Paid weekly via BACS
Paid annual leave
