Working on a range of machinery, a strong electrical bias is required.<\/p>\n<p> <strong><strong>Electrical Test Engineer Duties<\/strong><\/strong> <\/p>\n<p>Reporting to the Engineering Manager, this role is hands-on. Key duties include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Carry out planned preventative maintenance on equipment across the Tewkesbury site<\/li>\n<li>Adhere to and adapt the current schedules, liaising with the Engineering Manager as appropriate<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with current regulations, inspection protocols and required testing thresholds<\/li>\n<li>Conduct periodic lubrication and inspection of all machinery and equipment<\/li>\n<li>Conduct annual electrical emergency light testing in line with planned schedules<\/li>\n<li>Conduct annual electrical distribution testing<\/li>\n<li>To respond to breakdowns and provide reactive maintenance<\/li>\n<li>To repair and test all electrical and mechanical plant equipment<\/li>\n<li>To fault find and resolve issues<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You will hold an <strong>electrical engineering qualification<\/strong>, with the following up-to-date requirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Award in Peridic Inspection, Testing and Certification of Electrical Installation (C&amp;G 2391-51)\n<ul>\n<li>18th edition regulations amendment 2<\/li>\n<li>18th edition Onsite guide amendment 2<\/li>\n<li>Guidance notes 3 inspection and testing amendment 2<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Level 3 Award in the Initial Verification and Certification of Electrical Installations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You will&nbsp;have experience of high-speed automated machinery within an FMCG industry. You will be required to demonstrate the ability to electrical fault find to a high standard, working with minimum supervision and completing tasks in a timely manner.
