In the role of Semi-Senior Accountant within this business, the individual will play a crucial role in strengthening their small yet dynamic department. Responsibilities will include facilitating the preparation of financial statements, managing general ledger entries, and providing vital support to clients’ financial operations, including offering tax advice and preparing statutory accounts to FRS 102, 102a, and 105 standards.<\/p>\n

The responsibilities for this position involve:<\/p>\n

  1. Collaborating on the preparation of statutory accounts.<\/li>\n
  2. Commitment to adhering to accounting principles.<\/li>\n
  3. Assisting in the comprehensive preparation of tax returns and generating highly informative financial reports.<\/li>\n
  4. Serving as the main point of contact for clients, addressing their inquiries and concerns related to all aspects of their accounting needs.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Requirements for the role include:<\/p>\n

    1. A documented track record of proven experience in public practice.<\/li>\n
    2. A strong understanding of the multifaceted world of accounting principles and practices, along with the demonstrated ability to apply this knowledge effectively.<\/li>\n
    3. Proficiency in the use of accounting software, with a preference for individuals experienced with platforms such as Xero.<\/li>\n
    4. Being part-qualified ACCA or AAT (or alternatively, AAT Qualified), which demonstrates a commitment to ongoing professional development and the ability to excel in this position.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
