Company client is a cutting edge technology business focused around digital and environmentally sustainable data centres are looking for a Security Engineer to be accountable for the instillation of CCTV systems across Europe. <\/p>\n
Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
* Accountable for the build out the new Genetec platform.
* Review and create documentation (including process and procedure) for the implementation and provide training and guidance to the users of the platform\/applications
* Support the local site-teams together with our existing support partners with the existing (older) platforms such as Lenel, Borer, Immix etc and until they can be transitioned to the new Genetec platform
* Be accountable for the correct running, of the day-to-day, configuration and keep current the Physical Security Management System and support in the resolution of issues and faults – this will require liaison with suppliers and service operations<\/p>\n
Experience required:<\/p>\n
* Substantial experience with physical security and networking with focus on data centre deployments, high security mission critical failures and warehouses.
* MUST have strong technical experience with Genetec, particularly utilising Genetec for an end-to-end security solution
* Strong experience with physical security (products such as Axis \/ Mercury \/ HID \/ Honeywell)
* Proven skills within physical security design, development and delivery
* Previous involvement with building codes, regulations and standards for security.<\/p>\n
This will be a contract for 10 months initially with likely rolling extensions, or for the right candidate there may be an option to go permanent with the business. <\/p>\n
This role will be working all across the UK and may involve some travel across Europe.<\/p>\n
