BASIC SALARY:<\/strong> Up to £68,000 (including car allowance) dependant on your relevant experience<\/p>\n BENEFITS:<\/strong> LOCATION:<\/strong> Mansfield<\/p>\n COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS:<\/strong> Nottingham, Chesterfield, Derby, Sheffield, Alfreton, Worksop, Belper, Matlock, Loughborough, Burton-on-Trent.<\/p>\n JOB DESCRIPTION:<\/strong> Production Manager, Operations Manager \u2013 Chemical Manufacturing, COMAH, DSEAR, Lean<\/p>\n Our new Production Manager will face plenty of operational challenges leading our production department at our COMAH site in Derbyshire.<\/p>\n Your team will have over 20 Production Operators (indirect reports), your direct reports will be Production Planners and your Production Supervisors \/ Team Leader.<\/p>\n The team vary in their experience and longevity with us. \u00b7 Have managed a chemical production facility before in a suitable similar role which includes production planning under your remit – ideally it will have been a COMAH site
\u00b7 Understand chemical processing machinery, equipment and associated systems
\u00b7 Be a strong leader and able to demonstrate where you have developed your production team
\u00b7 Have a strong understanding of safety – you will likely hold an IOSH or NEBOSH qualification too
\u00b7 Be able to show where you have championed lean manufacturing<\/p>\n
