An English & Italian speaker is needed to join a prominent insurance business in London on a hybrid basis as a Reporting Accountant. In this role you will be responsible for preparation of financial statements whilst gaining exposure to multiple projects across the business.<\/p>\n
Main responsibilities include but are not limited to:<\/p>\n
* Production of the financial statements in Italian GAAP\/ UK GAAP
* Assist in the development of efficient financial controls for the financial statement preparation process
* Liaising with and supporting the Italian based finance team
* Additionally supporting IFRS 17 and SII deliverables<\/p>\n
For this role you should be:<\/p>\n
* ACA \/ ACCA\/ CIMA qualified, or qualified by experience
* Fluent in both Italian & English (essential)
* Proven experience in preparing financial statements in either a life or non-life insurance business (essential)
* Knowledge of IFRS & UK GAAP (essential)
* Knowledge of Italian GAAP (would be an advantage)<\/p>\n
