Hours<\/strong> – 36 per week – 8am to 4pm <\/p>\n Joining a site team of 3, reporting into the Site Manager.<\/p>\n Job purpose<\/strong> – You will be assisting the Site Manager in providing safe and well-maintained environment for staff and students.<\/p>\n The ideal candidate should possess a solid understanding of DIY, including filling\/painting and decorating works, woodwork\/joinery work and the ability to demonstrate a confident attitude towards problem solving.<\/p>\n Duties to include:<\/strong><\/p>\n Maintain the buildings, furnishings and grounds.<\/p>\n Movement\/porterage of equipment\/ furniture around the school site as required.<\/p>\n Record and reporting of hazards, damage or maintenance issues.<\/p>\n Oversee suppliers\/contractors delivering PPM (planned preventative maintenance) services to the school.<\/p>\n Site security including setting alarms, locking and opening up of the building.<\/p>\n Understand, manage and maintain the fire alarm systems throughout the school.<\/p>\n Monitoring stock levels and ordering products and services for the site.<\/p>\n Outdoor duties (e.g. litter picking, leaf-blowing refuge waste removal, clearing gutters, gritting in winter, checking and maintenance of minibus, cyclical visual checks\/inspections, grounds maintenance, window cleaning and site cleansing).<\/p>\n To set up and clear away equipment.<\/p>\n To assist with special events e.g. Open Days<\/p>\n Basic administration including managing emails and calendars training will be provided).<\/p>\n Safeguarding – Uphold the school policy in respect of Child Protection and Safeguarding matters.<\/p>\n This role requires a DBS to be carried out.<\/p>\n If you are interested in the position please do either apply online or contact our Staines office<\/p>\n Application Deadline:<\/b> 05\/03\/2024
