\nGoldhawk Associates are supporting a well-regarded and long-standing business within Rochester looking to add an Accounts Assistant to its team.<\/p>\n
The company is offering the chance for the successful individual to study towards their AAT qualification while growing and progressing their career. This is a newly created role due to company growth and expansion plans within the group. <\/p>\n
Duties include:
\u2022 Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
\u2022 Prepare and process invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports
\u2022 Coding invoices
\u2022 Processing requisitions and invoices onto the system
\u2022 Scanning and filing invoices
\u2022 Payment filing
\u2022 Statement reconciliation
\u2022 Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records
\u2022 Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
\u2022 Support the sales team with ad-hoc tasks as needed
\u2022 Process supplier and subcontractor invoices for payment
\u2022 Gaining authorisation of invoices in a timely manner
\u2022 Reconciling supplier statements
\u2022 Managing key suppliers in the best interest of the company
\u2022 Providing an excellent level of customer service to internal and external stakeholders\/suppliers<\/p>\n
Experience and specifications required:
\u2022 Proven experience as an Accounts Assistant, Credit Controller or similar role
\u2022 You must have the right to work in the UK
\u2022 Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail
\u2022 Excellent communication skills<\/p>\n
