We\u2019re looking for a Food and Beverage Team Member. In this role, you\u2019d be making a real difference to the work of the National Trust, as well as helping to give people a memorable day out. <\/p>\n

Hours: <\/strong>1560 hours per year, average of 30 hours a week across 4 or 5 days including weekdays and Bank Holidays. Typically between 9.30am – 5.30pm, no evenings or split-shifts.<\/p>\n

Although your hours may fluctuate, you will be paid in 12 equal instalments across the year.<\/p>\n

Salary: <\/strong>£10.50 per hour (rising in April 2024), the salary offered here is for all who apply, even if you’re of school leaving age. <\/p>\n

What you’ll be doing As a Team Member, your main focus will be front of house, dealing directly with people. You\u2019ll welcome and look after everyone who comes to the caf\u00e9. With your love of working with people, your \u2018can-do\u2019 attitude and your desire to provide an outstanding service, you\u2019ll be making sure everyone has an enjoyable time. This is a lively business that\u2019s constantly on the go, so teamwork and adaptability are crucial. 
You\u2019ll be keen to understand what people want, to help them and to make recommendations. You\u2019ll always keep the standards of food and drink preparation and presentation high. Using your excellent eye for detail, you\u2019ll make sure all displays and signs are accurate and looking good. At times, you may need to help the kitchen team with preparing food.
We\u2019ll give you an induction that fits the job, and training in allergens and food safety, plus any mentoring needed to help you in your role.
