You will be an electrically bias engineer, however ideally be multi-skilled  and have had exposure to PLC\u2019s and automated equipment.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>You will be dynamic and enthusiastic, with the ability to work autonomously and have worked in a preventative\/continuous improvement maintenance environment.&nbsp; Working collaboratively with a great team of experienced engineers in a fast paced \/ volume-manufacturing  environment.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>As the Maintenance Engineer, your day-to-day duties will include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Providing reactive maintenance support to the production operation.<\/li>\n<li>Assessment, identification, modification and performance of preventive maintenance, scheduled maintenance, modifications, or failures \/ breakdowns on production and packaging machines \/ lines, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical.<\/li>\n<li>Engineering corrective actions to support the Production Line Manager in ensuring that safe product is produced in line with legislation and Quality standards.<\/li>\n<li>Actively identify and implement plans to eliminate unnecessary losses such as cost, waste, and inefficiencies.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Undertaking fault finding, problem solving and planned and preventative maintenance on plant and equipment to maximise equipment reliability and performance.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards and controls to ensure all work is carried out correctly and safely.<\/li>\n<li>Identify and recommend opportunities for improvements to promote Health &amp; Safety and\/or operational efficiency and effectiveness.<\/li>\n<li>Attend and resolve breakdowns, to ensure minimum down time.<\/li>\n<li>&nbsp;Continuous improvement of equipment, improving safety, efficiency, changeovers and minimising downtime.<\/li>\n<li>Undertaking improvements projects to increase machine efficiencies and output.<\/li>\n<li>Reporting on potential breakdowns, maintenance issues, equipment performance, and plant data.<\/li>\n<li>Install and commission new equipment when required.<\/li>\n<li>Working with PLC\u2019s to fault find and repair production equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Carry out checks and inspection of plant, machinery, and equipment, maximise machine utilisation, decrease cycle times.<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with the production team.<\/li>\n<li>Gain a wide, in depth knowledge of the current production facility, equipment and processes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The successful candidate will:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Have served a full engineering apprenticeship or be degree qualified.<\/li>\n<li>Will have knowledge in electrical or mechanical maintenance, within a manufacturing industry.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Have excellent fault-finding and repair skills.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Have working knowledge of PLC fault-finding and repair, any programming skills would be of great interest.<\/li>\n<li>An analytical mind-set coupled with strong interpersonal and communication skills.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Be familiar with working to planned and preventative maintenance schedules in a continuous improvement environment.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Be keen to learn and develop your skills further with a great work ethic and can-do attitude.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Driving licence and own transport.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work under pressure.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Problem-solving skills.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Will have Excellent interpersonal skills and be comfortable when dealing with colleagues at all levels across a range of functions within the business.<\/li>\n<li>Strong planning and organising skills.<\/li>\n<li>Strong numeracy, literacy and effective communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Self-motivated and proactive approach to work<\/li>\n<li>Awareness of Health and Safety and other relevant legislation.<\/li>\n<li>Any other duties which may be required by management from time to time.&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In return you will receive a competitive basic salary for a 40 hour week across the following shift pattern:<\/p>\n<p>Monday to Friday &#8211; 06:00 &#8211; 14:00<\/p>\n<p>Monday to Friday &#8211;
