Shift: Days Monday to Thursday 07:00-15:30 & Friday 07:00 – 15:00<\/p>\n

Primary purpose and function of position:<\/strong><\/p>\n Reporting to the Utilities First Line Manager (FLM), the main purpose of this position is to support Utilities Operators in basic routine tasks. <\/p>\n The role holder is required to be fully capable of performing Utilities tasks outlined below<\/p>\n This job description and the job title Utilities Sampling Technician is not necessarily descriptive of all duties and does not restrict flexibility. You may be required, from time to time, to carry out tasks in addition to or instead of your normal duties, either for the Company or for Budweiser Brewing Group, provided that they are reasonable and within your capabilities.<\/p>\n Principal Duties and Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n Key Tasks:<\/strong><\/p>\n Act as a role model for safety and to take personal responsibility for their own safety and act when unsafe behaviour is observed or reported.<\/p>\n Accountabilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a7 Ensure workplace activities are completed safely and to the highest standard<\/p>\n \u00a7 Attendance of routine departmental meetings<\/p>\n \u00a7 Supporting the routine operational activities through sampling, analysis, housekeeping and stock-checking<\/p>\n Tasks:<\/strong><\/p>\n \u00fc Routine Sampling Duties Include:<\/p>\n – 4 Hourly Effluent Water Sampling<\/p>\n – 4 Hourly Air Receiver Blowdowns<\/p>\n – Daily Liquor Sampling<\/p>\n – Daily Boiler Water Sampling<\/p>\n – Daily Cooling Tower Sampling<\/p>\n – Chemical Stock Taking<\/p>\n \u00fc General Housekeeping of Plant Rooms:<\/p>\n – Cleaning and washing floors<\/p>\n – Waste removal and disposal as per Site Environment Policy<\/p>\n – Painting of facilities and equipment<\/p>\n – General upkeep of facilities<\/p>\n Key Skills, Knowledge & Competencies:<\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a7 Able to follow instructions and written SOP’s<\/p>\n \u00a7 Able to work as a team and as an individual using initiative and common sense and able to prioritise workload<\/p>\n \u00a7 Good computer, numeracy, literacy and verbal communication skills<\/p>\n Acorn by Synergie acts as an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.<\/p>\n Application Deadline:<\/b> 29\/03\/2024
