We are currently looking for 8x electrician to join HS2 project based in Water Orton, Birmingham.<\/p>\n
Successful candidate may be asked to work on the other HS2 sites local as and when the job requires.<\/p>\n
Company van and fuel card will be provided by the client to move between HS2 sites to complete the job.<\/p>\n
About The Role<\/strong><\/p>\n As an electrician you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of electrical equipment.<\/p>\n This could involve fixing problems that are reported, or installing new systems such as lighting and heating within new structures.<\/p>\n The job role of an electrician involves the following duties:<\/p>\n – Inspecting electrical systems, wiring and equipment to ensure they are safe and functioning properly – PAT testing<\/p>\n – changing light bulbs About The Candidate<\/p>\n Minimum Competencies Required:<\/p>\n Working hours: Mon \u2013 Fri 07:30 \u2013 17:30; Monday – Friday, full time, (1 hour break each day)<\/p>\n Rates: £22.83 ph PAYE <\/p>\n (+ 30 days paid holiday and pension scheme available)<\/p>\n Weekends overtime rate: at x1.5<\/strong><\/p>\n Lodge allowance £49.08 ph per shift, taxable available for candidates located over 50 miles away form the job.<\/strong><\/p>\n You must provide proof of right to work in UK and must pass a drugs and alcohol test.<\/p>\n VGC Group is committed to equality, diversity and inclusion.
