Duties and Responsibilities <\/p>\n
Include (but are not limited to) the following:- <\/p>\n
Support Operations with current product portfolio, productionisation, build efficiency and test plans, whilst also working with NPI products being introduced through the gate system.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Ensure existing tooling and factory aids are optimised.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Design new tooling and ways of working to encourage CIP and efficiencies within the product build cycle.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Champion manufacturing improvements internally and via our sub-contractors.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Prepare documentation and manage engineering documents and tooling for turnkey out- sourcing.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Prepare and present manufacturing data, throughput, test yield to management, subcontractors, suppliers, and customers.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Measure, complete, analyse and report internal and external manufacturing issues and metrics.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Drive cost cutting exercises.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
o Through best practice build and execution.<\/p>\n
o Design optimization.<\/p>\n
o Tooling and automation improvements.<\/p>\n
o Business case evaluation, for improvements.<\/p>\n
Qualifications and Experience<\/p>\n
Degree qualified with an engineering degree.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Essential to have at least 5 years working in a manufacturing environment.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Experience working with internal and external manufacturing suppliers.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Experience working in a sub-contracting environment will be a distinct advantage.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Be able to work well under severe pressure.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Strong leadership and communication skills<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
The ability to work with diverse teams.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Outstanding problem-solving skills.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
In-depth knowledge of manufacturing production and processes.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Electronics background would be beneficial.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Language Skills<\/p>\n
Ability to effectively communicate in the English language, both verbally and in writing<\/p>\n
Computer Skills<\/p>\n
Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Familiar with operating systems, such as Windows, etc.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Oracle experience is preferred.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Helix usage is preferred.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
GPS usage is preferred.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
