Elevation Accountancy and Finance are currently working on an exciting opportunity for a knowledgeable and confident Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a reputable business based in the Sheffield area on a temporary basis – this role will be an immediate start! <\/p>\n
Duties of the Purchase Ledger Clerk include: <\/p>\n
\u2022 Processing and matching high volume purchase invoices
\u2022 Query resolution
\u2022 Supplier set up, following the company\u2019s internal procedures
\u2022 Ensuring suppliers are paid to terms and discount is claimed where applicable
\u2022 Credit card processing
\u2022 Cash\/bank reporting
\u2022 Processing payment runs
\u2022 Assisting with the wider finance team as required
\u2022 Covering for various finance functions <\/p>\n
Role requirements include: <\/p>\n
\u2022 At least 2 years’ working within a purchase ledger function
\u2022 Ability to work well in demanding environments
\u2022 Strong IT skills, with strong Microsoft Excel highly regarded, but not a requirement
\u2022 Excellent communication skills <\/p>\n
