An SME company based in Shrewsbury, our client has an extensive portfolio of high-quality products that are supplied to various businesses across the nation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This is a fantastic opportunity for An Operations Manager who is needed to lead and coordinate our furniture manufacturing site. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient production processes and maintaining a high standard of product  quality.<\/p>\n<p>Initially working alongside a company director, this Senior Manager will liaise directly with clients, advise on processes, costings and oversee the smooth operation of all projects, from initial quotes\/orders through to install. <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage and direct the production department<\/li>\n<li>Ensure efficient production processes and high-quality output<\/li>\n<li>Develop and implement operational strategies and goals<\/li>\n<li>Lead and Oversee the budgeting, reporting, planning, and auditing in the department<\/li>\n<li>Identify and implement improvements to production processes and operations<\/li>\n<li>Ensure all operations adhere to health and safety regulations<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with other departments to achieve company objectives<\/li>\n<li>Lead, motivate and support a skilled team within a time-sensitive and demanding environment<\/li>\n<li>Position yourself to succeed the current Managing Director in the near future<\/li>\n<li>Direct customer liaison &#8211; managing a constructive relationship through trading and building on strong working relationships with existing clients<\/li>\n<li>Identifying, negotiating and running significant ordering through the supply chain.<\/li>\n<li>Managing multiple projects<\/li>\n<li>Reporting of financial performance and projections to the Company Directors.<\/li>\n<li>Integrating working practices with existing company systems and further developing office management tools for greater efficiency.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Profile<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This leadership position will ideally require a strong and diverse knowledge of the furniture production sector and a practical understanding of manufacture.
