We are working with Manchester City Council to find a Finance Administrator <\/strong>on a temporary basis.<\/p>\n Length of role<\/strong>: Initially until end of April. A basic DBS and BPSS check will need to be completed before a start date.<\/p>\n The team:<\/strong><\/p>\n The Social Care Payments Team sits within Corporate Finance, and processes payments to care providers for Adults and Children’s services.<\/p>\n Key Duties:<\/strong><\/p>\n – Receiving invoices and entering them onto the system.<\/p>\n – Maintaining financial records, updating, analysing, and monitoring, financial and administrative systems.<\/p>\n – Overseeing a caseload of providers and customers, with reference to invoices and purchase orders and internal staff guidance for the payment processes.<\/p>\n – Responding to queries from a wide range of people, including both internal and external customers.<\/p>\n Experiences required:<\/strong><\/p>\n – Data entry experience.<\/p>\n – Good Administrative experience.<\/p>\n – Experience on an accounts payable team would be desirable but not essential.<\/p>\n – Good IT and numeracy skills<\/p>\n – Good communication skills and ability to build good relationships with stakeholders.<\/p>\n – Organised and able to prioritise work and manage time to meet deadlines.<\/p>\n If you are interested, or have any questions, please let me know.<\/p>\n Application Deadline:<\/b> 07\/03\/2024
Hours:<\/strong> Full-time hours. 8:30-4. Flexi-time.
PAYE rate<\/strong>: £13.31 per hour.
Location:<\/strong> Hybrid. Office based at Manchester town hall for 2-3 days a week. Likely to be higher for initial induction period.<\/p>\n
