Summary of the Role<\/p>\n
Our Trade Sales Counter Person is the first point of contact at the counters in our depots. They assist our customers while selling the company\u2019s range of products and services and provide excellent customer services and have extensive knowledge of Howdens products.<\/p>\n
The Role<\/p>\n
\u2022 Provide potential and existing customers with the highest level of customer service and support the wider sales team in generating and chasing leads.
\u2022 Process sales for customers using the in store payment systems, quoting correct pricing, delivery date and stock requirements.
\u2022 Focus on effective customer account management, aiming to increase the company\u2019s customer base and develop long term collaborative relationships within the building trade.
\u2022 Maintain up to date product and industry knowledge.<\/p>\n
The Person<\/p>\n
\u2022 Previous sales experience is desirable
\u2022 Ability to multi-task and prioritise workload
\u2022 Experience in meeting and exceeding sales targets
\u2022 Planning and organising skills
\u2022 Able to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
\u2022 A desire for continuous personal and professional development<\/p>\n
