Performance Manager to take ownership for the reporting (P&amp;L and balance sheet) and partner with the Operations teams to drive performance, identifying  risks and opportunities through their numbers.<\/p>\n<p>Reporting into the Head of Finance for the group of companies, the Finance &amp; Performance Manager will have a Management Accountant producing month end, and a group shared service centre for all transactional duties.<\/p>\n<p>This is a highly commercial role that allows you to focus day to day as a true finance business partner, while retaining ownership of the division from a finance perspective.<\/p>\n<p>Hybrid working: <strong>1 day in the office, 4 days from home<\/strong><br \/>Length of assignment: <strong>asap until end of March 2024<\/strong><br \/>Rate: <strong>&#163;500 p\/d (inside IR35)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The Role<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>General<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Take ownership for the divisional P&amp;L and balance sheet reporting including month forecasting and business review of<\/li>\n<li>Take ownership for the divisional annual budget and business planning process<\/li>\n<li>Collate wider performer information and present in a way that aids in structured informed decision making by all stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>Form close working relationships with the wider Group Finance team, operational business managers and key personnel within partner organisations, such as external AP and payroll provider(s) and shareholder\u2019s finance teams<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>Reporting<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Review the work of Management Accountant, including monthly P&amp;L and balance sheet reporting, helping develop them and the department<\/li>\n<li>Assist and sign off on the Management Accounts in the written commentary to support understanding of variances between actual P&amp;L performance and the budget and forecast, monthly<\/li>\n<li>Business partner with operational directors, reviewing monthly performance to rationalise future month\u2019s forecast and highlight potential risks and\/or opportunities to the forecast and how the performance data is presenting trends<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>Operational Support<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Take ownership for the Financial Performance Review process, being proactive in arranging 1 to 1 sessions with operational department managers to help them understand the financial performance and where improvements can be made<\/li>\n<li>Suggest, develop and deliver improvements to existing, and create new operational financial reporting to improve the financial performance and understanding of the business<\/li>\n<li>Be the single point of contact for the assigned subsidiary in all finance related enquires, taking ownership to support the operational teams<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Your Profile<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Qualified Accountant (CIMA \/ ACA \/ ACCA \/ CA)<\/li>\n<li>Be a commercially astute, articulate, team player with the ability to communicate confidently with junior and senior finance and operational personnel alike<\/li>\n<li>Strong IT skills (Excel pivot tables essential) and a can do attitude to learning new systems<\/li>\n<li>Experience within a leisure business<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Application Deadline:<\/b> 14\/10\/2023<br \/>\n<b>Contract Type:<\/b> Temporary<br \/>\n<b>Submitted Applications:<\/b> 67<\/p>\n<p><a class='btn btn-block btn-primary theme-btn-primary' style='text-align: center;
