Supporting the Estate Managers, you will mainly be looking after the West Oxfordshire portfolio and the Thames Valley and  Cliveden portfolios . Joining our team, you\u2019ll take on interesting rural surveying work that will help us to deliver sustainable land and property management, for everyone, for ever.&nbsp; This is a hybrid opportunity; we are happy to explore and agree working  arrangements which strike the right balance for you and the Trust. During the initial training period there is a requirement to frequently be based onsite, however longer term, we anticipate you being onsite as and when needed. This role provides the opportunity  for the rural surveyor to work over a number of locations, with the focus being predominantly across the West Oxfordshire portfolio which includes one of the largest let estates in the National Trust at Buscot &amp; Coleshill.&nbsp; <br \/>Due to the travel required for this role, you must hold a full driving license with access to your own vehicle, business mileage claimable through expenses. <br \/>The position will either be based from Hughenden Manor or the Coleshill Estate Office. <br \/>We are offering a salary circa &#163;42,000 per annum.&nbsp; <br \/>What it&#8217;s like to work here From working closely with our farm tenants to deliver nature across our agricultural land, to negotiating commercial leases, negotiating easements and managing common land, no two days are the same. This role offers you amazing locations to work at, an interesting variety of work and a good work life balance.&nbsp; <br \/>What you&#8217;ll be doing Building upon the relationships we have with our tenants you will provide insightful advice, considerate relationship management and initiating forward thinking approaches to managing and conserving our land and buildings. You will be involved  in delivering a range of work, including residential and commercial lease negotiations, management of agricultural tenancies and agri-environment schemes, woodland management, access rights and boundary disputes, work with restrictive covenants and occasional  acquisitions and disposals. Whilst working with our structured governance framework, we need you to be an effective and convincing champion of best practice.&nbsp; Who we&#8217;re looking for \u2022a&nbsp;member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors&nbsp; \u2022a&nbsp;highly motivated  individual, with a passion for conservation and nature \u2022a&nbsp;team player, who enjoys working in a collaborative working environment \u2022good knowledge of land use, agriculture, asset management and land management \u2022good working knowledge and experience in environmental  issues, conservation, sustainable development and approaches to regenerative farming and nature base solutions \u2022proven ability to analyse, interpret and resolve rural surveying problems and legal documentation using your findings to influence decision making  and negotiation&nbsp; \u2022strong demonstrable consulting skills: listening, building trust and acting to deliver a high-quality service \u2022an appetite for learning and personal development <br \/>The package <\/p>\n<p>The National Trust has the motto \u2018For everyone, for ever\u2019 at its heart.
