Trace is partnering with a leading European Private Bank to recruit a Senior FP&A Business Partner for a 6-month Fixed-Term Contract (FTC). As a key player in the financial services sector, our client values excellence, innovation, and a commitment to its employees’ professional growth.<\/p>\n
Role Overview:
Reporting to the Head of FP&A, this Senior FP&A Business Partner role is a unique opportunity at the group level. The position involves ad-hoc project work and will require a candidate with a combination of financial acumen and a commercial mindset. Key Responsibilities:
– Act as the Financial Business Partner (FBP) for projects – a floating resource for major systems projects, other non-BAU initiatives and publishing of the ‘3 year plan”
– Manage stakeholders effectively, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
– Lead cost management and planning activities.
– Provide decision support to major senior stakeholders.
– Drive resource planning for the FP&A team.
– Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis on revenue, product, and projects.
– Support the implementation of confidential initiatives.<\/p>\n
Experience Needed:
– Fully qualified with 7 years + PQE.
– Must have experience as a Senior FBP or FP&A Analyst.
– CFO\/CEO experience required as the role involves business partnering with them.
– Ideally from a banking\/wealth background, but broader financial services experience will be considered.<\/p>\n
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
– Proven experience in FP&A, financial analysis, and stakeholder management at a senior level.
– Strong understanding of Management Information (MI) production and reporting.
– Ability to offer both financial and commercial perspectives.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.<\/p>\n
