ISQ Recruitment is seeking a Store Person on behalf on one of our prestigious clients – a leading engineering company in the Norfolk area. <\/p>\n
Role Overview:
As a Store Person, you will be a key player in maintaining the operational flow of the manufacturing plant. Your role will involve close collaboration with Production Managers and the Procurement Department, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Candidates with experience in store management or stock control, especially within an engineering setting, are ideal. Knowledge of Sage ERP system is a plus.<\/p>\n
Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
* Meticulously check and record incoming materials from suppliers
* Efficiently organize and log materials on the company’s ERP system.
* Promptly identify and report inventory shortages to the Procurement team.
* Strictly adhere to the company’s health, safety, and environmental policies.<\/p>\n
Candidate Profile:<\/p>\n
* Proven experience in a similar role, focused on store or stock control.
* Skilled in accurate data entry and management, Sage ERP experience preferred.
* Capable of working independently with strong organizational skills.
* Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written.<\/p>\n
