Ideally, we are looking for a qualified Accountant with experience in the education sector. In this interim role you will be responsible for the Management Accounts,  Reporting, and Business Partnering for their sites.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsible for production of monthly management reports for purposes of budgetary control in terms of income, pay and non-pay expenditure.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare, review and moderate the budgeting and year-end processes; and assisting<\/li>\n<li>in the preparation of related reporting analysis forming a part of year end accounts.<\/li>\n<li>Support the introduction of a new Finance System.<\/li>\n<li>Support the Director of Finance in the preparation of regular reports to Corporation &amp; SLT<\/li>\n<li>Support the Director of Finance in providing accurate and timely submission of<\/li>\n<li>financial returns to external bodies and funding agencies as required; assisting and&nbsp;advising the Director of MIS in relation to the checking and submission of funding&nbsp;returns to the relevant external bodies and funding agencies as required.<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with the MIS team to produce reports and analysis which add real value.<\/li>\n<li>Support all teams with regular reviews of financial performance by using variance analysis reports to monitor actual income and expenditure against budgets and ad-hoc financial analysis reports to support decision making.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor the progress of Internal Audit agreed actions, including ensuring reported progress has been made, as required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Qualified ACCA\/CIMA\/ACA<\/li>\n<li>Experience of working in education would be advantageous<\/li>\n<li>Strong system and IT skills<\/li>\n<li>Good soft skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This role will initially be office based, but after an initial settling in period there will be the WFH option.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Available now, or in the near future, soon, and interested?
