Business Development Executive – M&A Industry<\/strong><\/p>\n This is an opportunity to join a growing International IT Group within a Business Development role in their M&A team. Along with a Head of Business Development you will take responsibility for co-ordinating the research and deal origination activities within the business to identify suitable targets for potential acquisition for the English speaking countries of the global group. <\/p>\n Key aspects of the role will be:-<\/p>\n – Identifying potential companies that fit into the clients\u2019 niches and acquisition criteria both in the UK and Internationally<\/p>\n – Extending the pipeline of qualified M&A leads and getting in contact with target companies.<\/p>\n – Oversee the tracking of the deal origination process on the internal CRM system<\/p>\n – Liaising closely with the main internal M&A team<\/p>\n – Use marketing and CRM data to build relationships with key stakeholders \/ decision makers<\/p>\n Candidate profile:-<\/p>\n – Business Development specialist who likes working in a team but can also excel on their own<\/p>\n – Interest in or knowledge of IT and Software<\/p>\n – Commercial skills, sales ability and highly developed conversational skills in order to build strong relationships<\/p>\n – Basic knowledge of financial and annual reports and Excel understanding would be an asset<\/p>\n – Experience within (online) research<\/p>\n The business have strong growth plans so this is a key role within the business. The successful business development executive will have a business focused degree but will have at least a year of business developing within companies and ideally, but not essential, be experienced in deal origination within a Corporate Finance environment. <\/p>\n Whatever your background the key thing is you will have a keen interest in business and people, be ambitious, hands-on and committed to quality.
