To develop  all necessary policies and procedures to ensure the sound financial management and control of the division&#8217;s business. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Accountabilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Contribute to the achievement of the business objectives by providing advice and guidance on financial strategy;<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for working capital and treasury, include cash management and hedging foreign exchange exposure;<\/li>\n<li>Oversee all reporting processes, including managing the month end and year end process and the submission of timely financial reporting;<\/li>\n<li>Coordination and oversight of the annual budgeting cycle and quarterly reforecasts, for consolidation into the Group five year plan;<\/li>\n<li>Provision of detailed and timely analysis of company performance;<\/li>\n<li>Due diligence and appraisal of investments including grower loans and capital;<\/li>\n<li>Develop and maintain all necessary systems, policies and procedures to ensure effective and efficient financial management within the division;<\/li>\n<li>Carry out all necessary actions to ensure that the company meets its financial and legal obligations;<\/li>\n<li>Direct and manage the finance team to ensure that they are appropriately motivated and developed so that they carry out their responsibilities effectively<\/li>\n<li>Lead and champion change to drive continuous improvement within the finance and divisional function;<\/li>\n<li>Business partnering and application of financial information to all levels of management including Board of Directors;<\/li>\n<li>Working with external stakeholders to present accurate and true data;<\/li>\n<li>Working with the commercial trading managers to identify and achieve opportunities for maintaining and improving trading margins, be that with customers or suppliers;<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for planning, resource allocation, and forecasting on a long term and short term basis. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Company Initiatives and Compliance<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Take responsibility for the Health and Safety of yourself and others whilst at work.<\/li>\n<li>Support Company initiatives and demonstrate Company values.<\/li>\n<li>To comply with all legal and statutory obligations applicable to the role.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in training and personal development activities as required.<\/li>\n<li>Carry out any other reasonable tasks as required by the Company. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications\/ Knowledge\/ Skills &amp; Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Financial professional qualification<\/li>\n<li>Second language desirable (ideally Spanish) but not essential<\/li>\n<li>Minimum two years in a senior finance role<\/li>\n<li>Experience of the fruit or fresh produce industry is highly desirable or FMCG\/Retail <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Specific Skills &amp; Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Demonstration of strong interpersonal skills and team management with strong communication skills. Proven track record at developing and motivating team members and others around them.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent commercial and business experience. Demonstrable leadership skills.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to negotiate with and influence key stakeholders, seeking &#8216;win win&#8217; solution<\/li>\n<li>Ability to handle high levels of pressure and critical decision making<\/li>\n<li>Proven time management skills: Accustomed to working with and meeting time critical deadlines.<\/li>\n<li>Attention to detail and analytical skills. Accustomed to working with and interpreting data.<\/li>\n<li>Accustomed to Problem Solving.<\/li>\n<li>Flexible<\/li>\n<li>IT skills &#8211; highly proficient with Word, Excel and Microsoft Outlook.
