Robert Walters are currently working with a leading business based on the outskirts of Chichester who are seeking a Senior Accountant to join them on a permanent basis.<\/p>\n
This Senior Accountant role has come about due to continued success and growth of the business and is a key hire for our client to support them on their ambitious journey.<\/p>\n
Reporting into the Accounting Manager, this role will support this individual and lead the team in their absence Accounting Managers absence where necessary. <\/p>\n
Key Roles and Responsibilities of this Senior Accountant role:<\/p>\n
– Ensure timely\/accurate processing of all revenue transactions.<\/p>\n
– Monthly reconciliations of all relevant balance sheet accounts including, A.R & Deferred Revenue<\/p>\n
– Work with the I.T team to understand various payment platforms relating to income and sales.<\/p>\n
– Support the rollout of new revenue related systems – playing an active part on providing input to the project team and in testing.<\/p>\n
– Provide ad-hoc revenue related analysis & support.<\/p>\n
– Support year end audit process in terms of the provision of information relating to audit requests. <\/p>\n
We would love to speak to people with the following profile:<\/p>\n
– Qualified Accountant, ACCA\/CIMA studier OR QBE with relevant accounting experience and exposure.<\/p>\n
– Experience of Revenue Accounting would be advantageous<\/p>\n
– Experience of working in a multi site environment advantageous<\/p>\n
– Strong systems knowledge, Excel, SAGE, NetSuite.<\/p>\n
Our client is looking to offer a salary of £40,000 – £50,000 per year based on qualification status and experience. You will also get additional benefits inc, 25 days holiday, gym membership, pension scheme and hybrid, flexible working.<\/p>\n
