Our client is a local business with a reputation for staff retention and they are currently recruiting for a rare role for someone to head up their finance team due to impending retirement. <\/p>\n
Looking after a small team, the role will be varied and duties will include<\/p>\n
Looking after a team of three
Production of monthly management accounts
Monthly reporting and analysis
Working closely with external auditors at year end
VAT returns
Accruals and prepayments
Cashflow monitoring and reporting
Monthly payroll production and associated reporting
Pension scheme management and statutory returns
Working closely with HR Manager on personnel matters
Ad hoc reporting <\/p>\n
The successful candidate will have proven experience working in an SME environment and looking after a small team. <\/p>\n
Manufacturing experience would be an advantage but not essential but experience of Sage is preferred as is a strong understanding of Excel. <\/p>\n
