We are looking for a Policy Officer based in Manchester City Centre to join the policy team.

What does our Policy Officer role involve?<\/p>\n
* Supporting the development of evidence-based policy proposals, strategy, guidance or other protocols
* Working closely with workstream leads, operational teams and policy teams to deliver practical and operationally effective policy or strategy proposals within agreed milestones
* Drafting a wide range of clear and concise documents for internal and external audiences, in house style and often to tight deadlines
* Contributing to equality analyses
* Developing strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. This will involve establishing those relationships and developing credibility with these stakeholders
* Representing your team and directorate at internal meetings, as required
* Applying and managing the relevant diversity and equality policy and practice relevant to the role
* Applying the relevant management systems, procedures and policies relating to risk management, health and safety, information security and business continuity, as required<\/p>\n
We would love to hear from you if you have any of the following experience:<\/p>\n
* Experience working within a similar field\/policies
* Experienced in analysing data
* The ability to follow processes and procedures
* Proficient in Word and Excel
* An understanding of GDPR and maintain confidentiality
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills<\/p>\n
