\nPiper Maddox are working with an exciting start-up business in Oxfordshire that designs, tests and manufactures Electric Motors and Inverters for vehicles. After winning a number of projects from exciting clients across the world, they are looking to grow their internal Engineering team. One key hire they are looking to make is a Systems Engineer with a Functional Safety specialism. This is an important position within the business as they expand their products and client base. This opportunity would grant you the chance to embed yourself in a small business with short processes and quick decision making, whilst working on exciting clean-technology for the vehicle industry. <\/p>\n
What you will be doing?<\/p>\n
– Supporting the business with Functional Safety topics and ensuring correct procedures are included into V&V plans for upcoming products
– Defining Inverter and Motor requirements
– Lead product development processes according to ISO 26262
– When appropriate, helping out with testing of the technology <\/p>\n
What we are looking for:<\/p>\n
– Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Engineering or related discipline
– Experience as a Systems Engineer with knowledge on Functional Safety topics
– Direct experience with inverter, motor or other HV vehicle systems would be considered a bonus
– Ability to work well within a team
– Someone who wants to build a career with a growing organisation<\/p>\n
