Our client an established independent firm of Chartered Accountants are seeking an Accounts Senior to join their team in Winchester.<\/p>\n
This position has an accounts bias, and will involve being responsible for your own portfolio of clients including a mix of commercial organisations, non-for-profits, and a number of farming and agricultural based clients. You will also be undertaking some trust accounts, dealing with tax matters and VAT.<\/p>\n
A knowledge of agricultural clients is not essential, but would be helpful, along with a good understanding of accounting systems such as IRIS and CCH (Trust) Accounts.<\/p>\n
The hours of work are 8.30AM-5.15PM Monday to Thursday and 8.30AM to 4.30PM on Friday.<\/p>\n
Preferably, you will hold a professional qualification such as ACA\/ACCA and ideally have a strong accounts background, with at least 3-5 years practice experience, although study support may be offered if required. You will also possess good communication and organisational skills.<\/p>\n
