As Senior Finance Officer you’ll join the charity for an initial period of six months. If you’re successful and the charity continues to flourish, you may be offered a permanent role, if that’s what’s of interest to you.<\/p>\n
You’ll assist the Finance Manager with the preparation of monthly management accounts and calculating accruals and pre-payments. This part of the role will help you to develop your skills.<\/p>\n
Working as part of a finance team of four, you’ll take responsibility for reconciling time and attendance system data, working with HR colleagues, and then providing information to the external payroll bureau and pensions providers. You’ll also assist with gift aid claims and help colleagues manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.<\/p>\n
As there’s a need to "hit the ground running" you should be comfortable using Sage 50. Ideally, you’ll have experience in calculating accrual and pre-payments.<\/p>\n
