Our client is renowned for engineering excellence, expert advice and considered consultancy across  both public and private sectors.<\/p>\n<p>We are eager to speak with applicants with proven technical skills, looking for an opportunity to bring fresh new ideas and has a desire to progress in their career, taking on more responsibilities and becoming a future industry leader.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Main Responsibilities for the successful Principal Designer\/ CDM Advisor: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To work as a Principal Designer\/CDM Advisor on a wide variety of challenging and interesting projects covering many different construction sectors throughout the UK, including healthcare, commercial offices, education, retail, mixed use and residential schemes.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To undertake principal designer duties, as defined by the Construction (Design and Management) regulations 2015 (CDM) and as otherwise required of the role, including site visits, preparation of the pre- construction documentation.<\/li>\n<li>To liaise and communicate with clients, designers, contractors and others and to offer advice and guidance on CDM\/Health and Safety issues.<\/li>\n<li>To assist in the preparation of health and safety \/CDM documentation for contractors and others.<\/li>\n<li>To manage projects to the agreed project budgetary limits and time scales.<\/li>\n<li>To seek and follow up opportunities to promote the Business.<\/li>\n<li>Willing to attend design meetings, site meetings and carryout site inspections.<\/li>\n<li>To work collaboratively with colleagues and to keep them informed of issues on your projects at all time.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Main requirements for the successful Principal Designer\/ CDM Advisor:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Three years\u2019 relevant experience in the construction industry with experience of CDM\/Health and Safety issues in construction.<\/li>\n<li>Relevant HNC, HND, BSc or MSc (or equivalent) in a construction-related topic.<\/li>\n<li>Exceptional written, verbal communication skills and be self-motivated with excellent organisational skills.<\/li>\n<li>Proven ability to manage multiple projects, work independently, and collaborate effectively within a team. <\/li>\n<li>NEEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent as a minimum.<\/li>\n<li>Good understanding of appropriate legislation.<\/li>\n<li>Practical detailing sensibility. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What we offer to the successful <\/strong><strong>Principal Designer\/CDM Advisor<\/strong><strong>:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Negotiable Salary &#163;60,000 &#43; <\/li>\n<li>Monday to Friday<\/li>\n<li>Excellent Company Benefits ( Pension\/ Bonus\/Holiday\/Company Perks and many more)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you are a Principal Designer with a desire to progress and be part of great team, then this role is for you!
