Job Description: Area Manager<\/strong><\/p>\n Reporting into the Operations Manager, the Area Manager is responsible for delivering Service User centred care; through the efficient operational management of a small cluster of Mental Health Crisis Centre’s (typically 6 six service users in each home) and staff (including Line Managers) allocated to them; in accordance with company processes and procedures.<\/p>\n Summary of Benefits: <\/strong><\/p>\n Circa £45k, dependent upon experience<\/p>\n 28 days annual leave (inc paid public holidays)<\/p>\n Company Contributory Pension Scheme<\/p>\n Full expensed company mobile phone for business use<\/p>\n Company laptop with full VPN access<\/p>\n Mileage paid for business use<\/p>\n Car business insurance paid<\/p>\n Free on-site car parking<\/p>\n Blue Light Card Benefits scheme – offering a range of discounts on retailers, supermarkets, UK attractions and restaurants.<\/p>\n Key Features of role:<\/strong> The Service Manager will be specifically responsible for<\/p>\n – Provision of direct management of Home Manager’s and indirect supervision to the Operations Team<\/p>\n – Ensuring the maximisation of Service User interests by liaising with internal and external stakeholders<\/p>\n – Completing a regular case review, development and implementation of a person centred care plan for Service Users<\/p>\n – Implementation and monitoring of safeguarding the rights and dignity of Service Users<\/p>\n – Supporting the managers to ensure the effective management and control of Service User financials and house budgets<\/p>\n – Performance management of the Operations Team to maximise management and staff performance and assure compliance with company procedures<\/p>\n – Conduct training needs analysis for operational staff and work with HR and Training to co-ordinate the delivery of training and development to maximise competence in their job role<\/p>\n – Support staff with developing and implementing staff-rotas, ensuring that appropriate staff cover is available to Service Users<\/p>\n – Attending and actively participating in internal management reviews and external forums<\/p>\n – Accomplishing self-audits and pro-actively engage in external compliance audits<\/p>\n – Enhancing current operations through creating a culture of continuous improvement<\/p>\n Qualifications – The following qualification, skills and experience are required for this role:<\/p>\n This role offers security, stability and a dynamic working environment, with plenty of scope for career development and progression.
