Our client, a leading facilities management company, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Mobile Fabric Engineer to join their dynamic team in Edinburgh. This is an exciting opportunity to work across various commercial buildings, undertaking planned and reactive maintenance works.<\/p>\n
Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
* Planned and Reactive Maintenance:<\/p>\n
* Execute planned maintenance tasks as scheduled.
* Respond promptly to reactive maintenance requests, resolving issues efficiently.<\/p>\n
* Basic Plumbing:<\/p>\n
* Conduct plumbing repairs and installations.
* Diagnose and address plumbing issues to maintain optimal functionality.<\/p>\n
* Basic Electrics:<\/p>\n
* Undertake electrical repairs and installations.
* Troubleshoot electrical problems and implement effective solutions.<\/p>\n
* Painting:<\/p>\n
* Perform painting duties to enhance and maintain building aesthetics.
* Ensure quality finishes and adherence to safety standards.<\/p>\n
* Carpentry:<\/p>\n
* Carry out carpentry work for repairs and installations.
* Provide skilled support for various carpentry-related tasks.<\/p>\n
* Routine Inspections:<\/p>\n
* Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs.
* Report findings and propose preventive measures.<\/p>\n
* Health and Safety Compliance:<\/p>\n
* Adhere to health and safety regulations consistently.
* Implement safe work practices and report concerns promptly.<\/p>\n
* Customer Service:<\/p>\n
* Maintain a high level of customer service in client interactions.
* Address inquiries and concerns professionally and promptly.<\/p>\n
* Vehicle and Equipment Management:<\/p>\n
* Utilize the provided van for travel between sites.
* Ensure proper care and maintenance of tools and equipment.<\/p>\n
* Documentation:<\/p>\n
* Keep accurate records of maintenance activities.
* Complete required paperwork and reports in a timely manner.<\/p>\n
Requirements:<\/p>\n
* Previous experience in a similar role with a strong background in basic plumbing, electrics, painting, and carpentry.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
* Strong organisational and time-management skills.
* Customer-focused attitude and effective communication skills.
* Able to pass DBS checks
* Full UK driving license.<\/p>\n
Package:<\/p>\n
* Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.
* £30,000 – £34,000 per annum, depending on experience.
