Researcher – FTC – Law Firm – London and hybrid<\/p>\n
A prominent law firm has a new Fixed Term Contract job opportunity for a Researcher based in London with hybrid working.<\/p>\n
The post will be based within the Research Services team and will be an ideal role for a Library and Information professional with some corporate research experience using secondary online information databases to further develop their career.<\/p>\n
Key job responsibilities will include:<\/p>\n
\u2022 Dealing with a wide range of business and legal research enquiries
\u2022 Providing current awareness services
\u2022 Developing and maintaining information resources
\u2022 Cataloguing
\u2022 Assisting with knowledge management duties<\/p>\n
This would suit an information professional with some experience of working in a professional services environment in a research and information role, even at a junior level.<\/p>\n
A Library & Information Management qualification is desirable.<\/p>\n
Further job and person specifications include:<\/p>\n
\u2022 Possessing confident communication skills
\u2022 Being experienced in online research and familiarity with databases such as Companies House, Westlaw, Mergermarket, Debtwire and Lexis would be an advantage<\/p>\n
This is a great chance to for a Knowledge and Information professional to develop their research and information services experience in a well respected law firm.<\/p>\n
The Researcher position is likely to be offerd as a 9 month Fixed-Term Contract in the first instance, with potential for extension. Hybrid work pattern of 3 days in the office.<\/p>\n
