Our client-partner is looking for someone with operational management & customer management skills<\/b>, ideally having worked in a sterile services \/ healthcare sector<\/b> \u2013 with a background of the operational experience, ideally: endoscopy.<\/b> Someone who can consistently improve against budget targets and successfully meet business improvements and KPI’s in line with business plans.<\/p>\n
Demonstrable skills of improving quality trends, successfully managing BSI audits, with no negative impact to service deliverables, improve performance of key KPIs, reduce costs, improve process efficiencies & improve quality trends with a consistent performance, is important.<\/p>\n
We are looking for someone to join our dedicated healthcare partner who is committed to enhancing well-being. As General Manager, reporting to the Director of Decontamination, you’ll lead a team to deliver high-quality, cost-effective healthcare services.<\/p>\n
In this role, you will provide clear leadership aligned with our partner\u2019s vision and priorities. Managing the business area, you’ll deliver strategic plans and collaborate with the Director on service strategies.<\/p>\n
THE PRE-REQUESITE:<\/b><\/p>\n
Your responsibilities will include identifying opportunities and threats for services within the group, contributing to the organization\u2019s strategy, and leading change management programs for service improvement.<\/p>\n
Ensuring financial obligations are met, you’ll act as an authorizing signatory for budgets and manage reporting on budget positions across the group.<\/p>\n
In people management, you’ll provide senior leadership, monitor workforce compliance, and ensure team well-being.<\/p>\n
Your role extends to risk management, quality, and sterilization, where you’ll develop and manage systems, resolve complaints, and support root cause analyses.<\/p>\n
Additionally, you’ll promote equality and ensure compliance with health and safety protocols. Your commitment to personal development and supporting colleagues’ growth is also important.<\/p>\n
THE SKILLS:<\/b><\/p>\n
Requirements for this role include IT skills, excellent communication and people management experience, a proactive customer-focused approach, strong problem-solving skills, financial knowledge, and analytical skills. Experience in Lean methodologies, production, supply chain, or service management is crucial, along with a degree or equivalent education, NEBOSH certificate, and experience in the healthcare sector, particularly in Decontamination and Sterilization Services.<\/p>\n

If you have a track record of managing the delivery of a range of complex services and for implementing and managing systems and processes and can take responsibility for managing the complex nature of a business, ensuring that the appropriate strategic plans are delivered within the operating framework, we\u2019d like to hear from you.<\/p>\n
Providing senior leadership and influencing service design and delivery across the organisation; supporting and maintaining all \u2018risk assessments\u2019 as required by legislation and adhering to a \u2018clean as you go\u2019 method, is important.<\/p>\n
Individuals with commercial and supply chain experience and of implementing continuous improvement programmes; a working understanding of Quality Management Systems, preferably Medical Devices ISO:13485 and working knowledge of the Healthcare sector and decontamination and Sterilisation Services, will be sought after.<\/p>\n
