{"id":3941,"date":"2024-01-06T20:00:06","date_gmt":"2024-01-06T20:00:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/coinsrev.com\/info\/gas-engineer-2\/"},"modified":"2024-01-06T20:00:06","modified_gmt":"2024-01-06T20:00:06","slug":"gas-engineer-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/coinsrev.com\/info\/gas-engineer-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Gas Engineer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>Employer:<\/b> Catch 22<br \/>\n<b>Salary:<\/b> \u00a340,000 &#8211; \u00a345,000 per annum<br \/>\n<b>Date Added:<\/b> 06\/01\/2024<\/p>\n<p>Our client are a family owned organisation who have grown their business to become one of the UK&#8217;s leading Mechanical &amp; Electrical services contractors whilst maintaining their family values.<\/p>\n<p>They are seeking an experienced <strong>Gas Engineer<\/strong> to undertake repair, maintenance and installation of gas, plumbing and heating systems in domestic and commercial properties across <strong>The North East.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Main responsibilities of the Gas Engineer;<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To undertake heating engineering &amp; plumbing duties including reactive repairs, servicing of boilers and other appliances, installations and associated works.<\/li>\n<li>To undertake the installation of new domestic heating systems in accordance with the manufacturer&#8217;s instructions, industry best practice codes, practices, and legislation.<\/li>\n<li>To issue notices and certificates required by the relevant regulations relating to gas safety.<\/li>\n<li>To adhere to manufacturer&#8217;s instructions when servicing, repairing or installing appliances.<\/li>\n<li>To provide information to allow records to be updated following service and testing and update Gas Safety records using electronic or manual documentation.<\/li>\n<li>To acquire quotes for stock from authorized suppliers, materials required to undertake works through the approved order system<\/li>\n<li>To complete all relevant training and certifications as required by regulations as and when required.<\/li>\n<li>To maintain regular contact with the site supervisor and works co-ordinators to obtain instructions and resolve working problems.<\/li>\n<li>To record completed works and maintain an accurate records of work carried out including measurements and calculations. Successful applicants will be expected to be part of the on-call rota.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The ideal Gas Engineer will;<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Have experience working in both commercial and domestic environments<\/li>\n<li>Ideally be familiar with oil and medium and high-pressure systems.<\/li>\n<li>Have valid Commercial and Domestic Gas tickets.
