{"id":3897,"date":"2024-01-06T05:32:04","date_gmt":"2024-01-06T05:32:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/coinsrev.com\/info\/sen-reading-specialist-neurodiversity-4\/"},"modified":"2024-01-06T05:32:04","modified_gmt":"2024-01-06T05:32:04","slug":"sen-reading-specialist-neurodiversity-4","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/coinsrev.com\/info\/sen-reading-specialist-neurodiversity-4\/","title":{"rendered":"SEN Reading Specialist \/ Neurodiversity"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>Employer:<\/b> KM Education Recruitment Ltd<br \/>\n<b>Salary:<\/b> \u00a326,000 per annum<br \/>\n<b>Date Added:<\/b> 12\/10\/2023<br \/>\n<strong>KM Recruitment is a specialist UK wide recruiter for the Skills and Employability sectors.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:&nbsp;<\/strong>SEN&nbsp;Reading&nbsp;Specialist&nbsp;\/&nbsp;Neurodiversity <\/p>\n<p><strong>Location:<\/strong>&nbsp;Hemel Hempstead &#8211; Centre based &nbsp; <\/p>\n<p><strong>Salary:<\/strong>&nbsp;up to &#163;26,000 (Depending on experience) <\/p>\n<p><strong>Package:&nbsp;<\/strong>Excellent Holiday Entitlement, Pension &#43; more<\/p>\n<p><strong>Type:<\/strong>&nbsp;Full Time, Permanent&nbsp; <\/p>\n<p><strong>Duties:<\/strong> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Work in conjunction with the delivery team to&nbsp;identify and&nbsp;provide support to learners with neurodiversity&nbsp;and inclusion&nbsp;needs.<\/li>\n<li>Carry out screening with learners who have low level reading ability, and adapt \/ develop learning materials and reading interventions, to ensure that their needs are met.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for the implementation of engaging and motivational learning support&nbsp;sessions,&nbsp;delivered 1-1 or in a small group.<\/li>\n<li>Provide learning support for the duration of the accredited learning programmes, leading to employability outcomes.<\/li>\n<li>Creation of ILP&#8217;s and ensure that ample support is in place.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Maintain learner progress records, including the monitoring and reviewing of Learning Support Plans.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> <strong>Criteria:<\/strong> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The ideal candidate will have experience of supporting and inspiring learners throughout their learning programmes.<\/li>\n<li>Must have experience of working with neurodiverse learners \/ learners with inclusion needs within an educational setting.<\/li>\n<li>Must possess a sound knowledge of the SEND code of practice.<\/li>\n<li>Must hold own GCSEs in Maths and English at Grade C or above.<\/li>\n<li>Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively.<\/li>\n<li>Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> <strong>Please note:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>KM Recruitment receive a high number of applications for each role advertised and although we would like to we are not always able to deliver feedback to unsuccessful candidates.
