Reed Practice are partnering with a local Colchester firm, to recruit a Senior Accountant.<\/p>\n
The business offers a wide range of accounting services to clients from a range of sectors. The Partners bring a breadth of historical experience, have qualified in Top 10, local firms and even one qualifying in industry, which provides the team with strong support and mentoring.<\/p>\n
The firm has developed an enviable reputation in the region and are growing at a constant pace.<\/p>\n
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing their own portfolio of clients, a range of which will be large enough to keep you busy but small enough to so that you are not overworked.<\/p>\n
You will:<\/p>\n
\u2022 Develop sound relationships with clients, be a reliable contact and advisor.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Statutory year end accounts to UK regulations<\/p>\n
\u2022 Preparing associated corporate tax returns<\/p>\n
\u2022 Creating self-assessment tax returns<\/p>\n
You will be ACA, ACCA or AAT qualified or qualified by experience with considerable experience in an accounting firm working to UK regulations.<\/p>\n
The Senior Accountant will need to be commercially aware with a professional approach with excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as organisational and time management abilities.<\/p>\n
