Our client are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Purchasing Lead. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in procurement, supply chain management, and vendor relations. This key position will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing their procurement strategy, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services.<\/p>\n
Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n Strategic Sourcing: Develop and implement a comprehensive sourcing strategy to ensure the cost-effective acquisition of materials, products, and services while maintaining high quality and on-time delivery.<\/p>\n Supplier Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with agreed-upon terms.<\/p>\n Cost Negotiation: Negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and payment conditions with suppliers to achieve cost savings and improve overall profitability.<\/p>\n Market Analysis: Stay informed about market trends, industry developments, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.<\/p>\n Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, logistics, and finance, to ensure alignment of purchasing activities with overall business goals.<\/p>\n Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions.<\/p>\n Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve purchasing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce lead times, and optimize inventory levels.<\/p>\n Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. (preferred)<\/p>\n CIPS Diploma<\/p>\n Proven experience in a purchasing or procurement role, with a track record of successful negotiations and cost savings.<\/p>\n Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.<\/p>\n Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.<\/p>\n Familiarity with procurement software and tools.<\/p>\n Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.<\/p>\n Application Deadline:<\/b> 16\/02\/2024
