Candidates should expect to be working in central London offices for the majority of the time, with a requirement to work out of hours or on location in the UK and abroad, according  to operational needs<\/p>\n<p><strong>TYPE:<\/strong> Full-Time, Permanent<\/p>\n<p><strong>WORKING HOURS: <\/strong>37.5 Hours per Week, Monday to Friday between the hours of 8am &#8211; 6pm<\/p>\n<p><strong>JOB OVERVIEW<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Media Support Administrator who has good administrative, organisational, time-management and communication skills with the ability to provide 1-1 support for disabled staff such as guiding employees with sight  loss, providing visual descriptions, reading emails and note-taking in meetings.<\/p>\n<p>Working as the Media Support Administrator you will provide facilitation (human support) for disabled staff and log this support on the internal systems.<\/p>\n<p>As a Media Support Administrator you will also accurately book communication support and other facilitation requests using internal systems to ensure Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are reported and financial reporting is accurate in relation to these  bookings.<\/p>\n<p>As a successful candidate you will be part of a team that highlights risks and issues and works proactively to resolve them, with support from more senior colleagues and management. The postholder will provide access support and advice to stakeholders.<\/p>\n<p><strong>APPLY TODAY<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If this job looks like your ideal position, then please send in your CV as soon as possible for our Recruitment Team to review.<\/p>\n<p><strong>DUTIES<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Provision of Facilitation<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Your duties and responsibilities as the Media Support Administrator will be to provide facilitation (human support) to disabled staff and contributors to enable them to fulfil their job requirements without barriers and will include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Guiding service users with sight loss<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Providing reading and research support<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Providing visual description<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Note-taking in meetings<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Use of various software packages<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Use of office equipment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Providing support for service users on transport and public transport, or on location<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Administration<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Carrying out general administrative functions including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Completing and sending Access to Work claim forms<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Supporting team members with service delivery<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintaining records<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Booking Support<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Receiving, uploading and reviewing referrals for support requests<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Updating system in line with agreed processes and escalating work to Disability Advisors \/ Vocational Rehabilitation Consultants<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensuring that all Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are adhered to in terms of acknowledging referrals<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Working with a specified list of suppliers to book, confirm and arrange facilitation support as and when requested for service users<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Following up on any cancelled requests and recording cancellation reasons<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Reporting noncompliance of suppliers or feedback from service users<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintaining accurate records using database<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES &amp; ACCOUNTABILITIES<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support and queries<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Answer telephone and email enquires as promptly as possible from service users, in line with SLA<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Support Access Specialists \/ VRCs with queries on service delivery<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Support other business functions in line with service delivery<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Record support and queries, comments and feedback for service improvements<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to deliver 1:1 human support, including sighted guiding<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to work effectively with both internal and external customers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Highly organised, able to self-motivate and manage a busy and varied workload<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to work to tight deadlines<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to engage effectively with a variety of people at all levels<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to learn to use and understand new \/ variety of computer systems<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to do work to instruction (e.g. data inputting) using standard apps and systems<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to do basic research tasks using online tools and resources, working to a brief<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience of working to measurable targets and deadlines<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>A team player who is also able to work unsupervised<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Commercial and financial awareness \/ some understanding of the government funding mechanisms<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent communication and inter-personal skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to understand systems and follow standard admin processes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Use of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Task and diary management<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to take accurate, reliable notes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Attention to detail<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>HOW TO APPLY<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To be considered for this job vacancy, please submit your CV to our Recruitment Team who will review your details.
