Role Brief:<\/p>\n
Seeking a Network & Security Engineer to join the Infrastructure Team with a primary focus on maintaining the network infrastructure. This hybrid role involves working within both network operations and project delivery.
Requirements:
\u2022Experience in project delivery and BAU\/Operations.
\u2022Proactive diagnosis and troubleshooting of networking faults and performance issues.
\u2022Good understanding of cybersecurity principles, priorities, and incident management.
\u2022Maintenance of network software and hardware lifecycle.
\u2022Technical documentation maintenance.
\u2022Proactive monitoring of network performance, utilization, and health alerts.
\u2022Network commissioning and installation experience.
\u2022Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to discuss network requirements, and collaborate with other technical teams.
\u2022Maintenance of good relationships with partners and key stakeholders.
\u2022Awareness of the latest industry technologies and security best practices.
\u2022Participation in bi-monthly on-call SOC rota.<\/p>\n
Essential:<\/p>\n
\u2022Minimum 3 years of working experience in enterprise networking.
\u2022Valid CCNP Enterprise or working towards it.
\u2022Proficiency with Cisco LAN (Wired and Wireless) WAN, Security, and Data Centre Networking.
\u2022In-depth knowledge and practical experience of routing and switching.
\u2022Practical experience with next-generation firewall technologies (e.g., Palo Alto Gateways and Cisco Firepower Services).
\u2022Practical experience of secure wired, wireless, and VPN onboarding.
\u2022Experience working within the ITIL framework and demonstrating its use and standards within change control, operations, and project delivery.
\u2022Must have a full UK driver\u2019s license.<\/p>\n
